EYP a role model for youth discussions on energy

“The youth wants to co-create the energy future. In a nutshell: “Energy matters!”  “Power Shifts” is a role model in this respect.”

This is how Peter Terium, CEO at innogy, describes the work of the European Youth Parliament after him joining a discussion round with around 150 participants from 27 countries at the “Power Shifts Academic Forum – Heidelberg 2017”. The session marks the final element of the Power Shifts trilogy organised by the EYP and the Schwarzkopf Foundation in cooperation with the innogy Foundation in order to bring energy related topics closer to youth discussions on a European level.

The solutions proposed by our young participants can be found in the resolution booklet. The final magazine of the session’s media team sheds more light on the session framework and the volunteers working for it.
