26 Mar How organising EYP International Session can help you grow as a person
The Mercator Foundation and the innogy Stiftung für Energie und Gesellschaft are giving EYP extra space for knowledge exchange, innovation and sustainable development. For example, project managers of past and upcoming International Sessions got the opportunity to meet each other in Berlin in February. Find out some of the new ideas they are planning to implement in their sessions!
The Head Organiser Summit is a unique opportunity for the project managers of the past, present and future EYP International Sessions to get together, share best practices, knowledge and experience and provide mutual support. As the EYP work is based on the principles of peer-to-peer education – also the session preparation is organised for young people, by young people. During that process, they acquire valuable skills that will benefit them in the future. This year, the head organisers of sessions that took place in 2018 (Vilnius and Rotterdam) and of the ones that are taking place in 2019 and 2020 (Valencia, Hamburg, Milan and Warsaw) met in Berlin. The Summit included modules on Leadership, Welfare and Participant Support, Fundraising and External Public Relations.
In the video below you can listen to the sessions’ project managers talking about the innovations they are planning to implement in the upcoming events!
